We are the Jones family — a family of four from Dallas, Texas. We love to travel and have been many places around the world. As our children got older, we craved a place of our own to create memories with family and friends.

The History of Wildwood Ranch
In 2006, Wildwood Ranch was purchased by Cullum & Susan Thompson as an addition to their nearby property to accommodate their growing family.
As the years went on, they pieced together the surrounding acreage, bit by bit, into what is now the 160 acres of Wildwood Ranch, with the aim of preserving the historic lands in their natural state.
When not using the ranch, the Thompsons listed it on VRBO for guests to rent, which is where we come in…
How it came to be ours
In 2010 our family first visited Wildwood Ranch and instantly fell in love with the peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of life in Dallas. We visited many times over the years and would dream about owning it one day (not really thinking it would ever be up for sale OR that we would actually do it), but in 2019, we had the opportunity to purchase this amazing property, and WE DID IT! We hope to continue the legacy the Thompsons worked so hard to create, and we are thrilled to be a part of this gorgeous property’s story.
In the spring of 2019, the house received a thorough facelift. The remodel included an updated kitchen and bathrooms, fresh paint, new flooring and opening a wall to allow for beautiful views of the main pond. With a neutral pallette and decor, the house now reflects the peaceful surroundings of the outdoors.
We are thrilled to share our little piece of heaven with you, and we hope you make many wonderful memories here, just as we have!
